Corporate Finance Associate
Summary
Join our rapidly growing M&A advisory firm and have a tangible impact on our collective success. As a Corporate Finance Associate at Collingwood, you will be at the heart of our success, managing market-leading sale mandates for our global B2B media clients, gaining more responsibility and autonomy earlier in your career than in a traditional firm. We're looking for awesome individuals with personality and ambition to boot, a background in mid market transactions, and a demonstrable ability to problem solve, delivering high quality work to tight deadlines both as an individual and as contributing to our team. In return, we offer a highly competitive package, hybrid working, and a supportive, team-first culture designed to help you achieve more than you thought possible.
What does the job involve?
As an Associate in our Corporate Finance team, we aim to offer a higher level of responsibility and autonomy earlier in your career, with the right level of support and development to help you go further, faster. This role is focused on identifying, winning, and executing lower mid market, sell-side mandates within the B2B Media industry, globally.
- You will support the delivery of lead advisory mandates from start to finish, including creating financial databooks, information memoranda, and DD-ready VDRs.
- You will act as a day-to-day contact for the client, and will ensure the consistent delivery of projects / outputs against timetables and our highest quality standards.
- You will assess the client’s business drivers, quality of earnings, and key deal issues to create a tailored approach to the sale process.
- You will also support our business development activities, including identifying targets, engaging prospects, and creating materials for pitches and proposals.
- You will help build and maintain Collingwood’s relationship with buyers and PE houses, as well as our overall market profile contributing to a variety of marketing initiatives and regular thought leadership.
- You will constantly strive for innovation, using technology and your experience to identify areas where we can materially improve the quality of our work, transform the nature of our ways of working, and drive efficiency and effectiveness in everything we do.
Our role in Corporate Finance is exciting and no two days are the same – flexibility, ambition, and responsibility will stand you in good stead.

- Superb project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
