Lisa Hannant, Group CEO, Clarion Events
Lisa Hannant, Group CEO of Clarion Events, is a 30-year veteran of the exhibition and conference industry. Prior to Clarion she was managing director of one of the world’s largest energy conferences which was acquired by Clarion in 2008. After the acquisition she stayed with Clarion and led the energy industry vertical before becoming group CEO in 2022. Clarion has been owned by Blackstone Private Equity since 2017 after they acquired it from Providence Equity Partners.
Tim McLoughlin, CEO, PEI
Tim McLoughlin has worked in the media sector for over 25 years. For the last 16 years he has been CEO of PEI Group where he has been instrumental in taking the business through a complete digital transformation – from conferences and magazines to networking and data subscriptions. Over this period he has been through two different private equity ownership periods and in 2023 received backing from the Bridgepoint European VII fund.
Jacob Donnelly, Founder, A Media Operator
Jacob Donnelly is one of the founding members of Morning Brew and the creator of the A Media Operator newsletter. He previously served as managing director of revenue at CoinDesk and as a business analyst at ThomasNet.
